Destination Continuing Education

We offer continuing dental education courses held in exciting destinations. Our programs are designed for dentists who want to combine professional learning with the opportunity to explore new places, relax, and connect with peers, alongside their families.

Yes. Journeys CDE is an authorized study club with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and as such can assign continuing education (CE) points to the various programs and meetings that it sponsors.

Our courses are primarily designed for licensed dentists, dental specialists, and dental team members. Spouses, families, and friends are also welcome to join the travel portions of the trip, even if not attending the CE sessions.

We will be offering a calendar of destinations, including cruises, beach resorts, and cultural cities across Europe, and the Caribbean. Upcoming destinations will be listed on our Destination CE page.

Our courses typically offer 8–16 hours of CE over the span of the trip. Sessions are scheduled to allow for plenty of free time to enjoy the destination.

Our content supports a dentist’s quality assurance needs for licensure in Canada and the United States of America. Topics include practice management, emerging clinical techniques, patient communication, digital dentistry, and more. Speakers are experienced practitioners and educators. Please confirm your continuing education professional needs with your local licensing body.

You can register directly through our website by selecting your desired destination and completing the registration form. Once you have confirmed your travel arrangements, you will be sent a link to register for the Continuing Education portion of the trip. To attend the conference, participants must book their cruise accommodations through Journeys Continuing Dental Education and Fare Connect. This ensures we can provide full conference services and complimentary social amenities to meeting participants and guests. Participants' family and friends are welcome to book within our group allotment to take advantage of our excellent rates.

Travel costs such as flights, accommodation, and excursions are arranged separately.
